I just installed a DG snorkle the other day and today was the first time i got to test it out. I do not have any other air box mods other than the snorkle I still have the factory air filter installed. I noticed after running full throttle and backed off to coast I would get a poping in the exhaust. I also noticed when i started it up. I had a little poping through the carbs. But it seemed to disappear after the bike warmed up. I have not jetted the carbs. I still have the factory exhaust also. The only other mod I have is a Epi pink spring installed. Any suggestions or advise would be great. Thanx

 

Both are symptoms of lean idle circuit (popping intake on throttle, and exhaust popping off throttle) and the problem goes away when warmed up, another sign of lean. Adjust the mixture screw out(richer) about 1/4 turn at a time. that should take care of it.
