Basically it will change your rev limit or a good one will change your power curve. Most units add 1000 revs. Good for applications where you are still making power when you need to shift. i didnt know that until about a day ago so i dont think your stupid, and if you are, i am right beside ya.

I has been said a stupid question is one not asked. I guess stupid is when somthing is explained over and over and it will not sink in. Some self proclaimed smart people seem to act as if they came from the womb with all knowledge.
Look at it like this. If a person has class, he does not say "I got Class, real Class!" The same goes for "I'm smart, real smart!" Look out for those folk.

Capacitor Discharge Ignition I believe. Basically the CDI everyone is talking about is a replacement ignition box that advances the timing throughout the curve for more performance on a prairie 650/700.
