ok i just installed the fst module, dial-a-jet system and the dg snorkel.
my question is i think i got most of it all in correct wih the jetting close
the only problem i seem to be having is when i let off the throttle it pops a little
i just got my carbon fiber hood in, so i might have togo through the jetting thing again anyway.

any help or sugestions on what todo is greatly apprecitaed

I had to go up one size on the main jets and a 1/4 turn on the pilot screw for the FST CDI.

I went through the same thing with my Prairie. All I had to do was go out about 1/2 turn on the air screws. Hope it works for you. Have a goodun!!!!!!

 

My P650 occasionally backfires after I let off of WOT and it has done so ever since I installed the DAJs. I understand there are 2 options to fix this...first try to back out the idle mixture screws a little (richen the setting). If that doesn't help, you may have to install a bigger pilot jet...but I hear folks have a hard time finding a larger pilot jet for the V-twin motor. Good luck to you!

i will be installing the carbon man hood next week, and i may need to rejet again anyway

dont have time this weekend to play with the v, my best toy, i have golf saturday & paintball sunday, boy i know

backing out the mixture screws will "lean" it not "richen" it. And yes it will stop alot of the backfiring.
