I was just about to post the same questions about the Outerwear for the V force with K&N. I would like to find out before removing the baffle from the air box.

Dale at Dalton said the clutch cover will be beneficial when you can make the motor "like" more RPM's. A stock motor won't see much benefit from the clutch cover, but once you do air box mods, add pipes, jetting, etc. the clutch cover is good for about 4 mph and will rev faster. I beleive it would be like lightening up a flywheel on a motor. the less mass that has to spool up, will allow the motor to rev quicker, thus accelerating faster. I think Dale said the stock motor signs off at 5800 rpm, so to get more top speed, you will need to get a CDI that allows the machine to rev higher, and also add the big bore kit and cams to allow the motor to have enough horspower to get there.
