New V Force
#1
Well I did it. I ordered my wifes new V Force over the phone this morning. I go pick it up in the morning. $5899 out the door. Is there anything I need to know about it before we bring it home?

The one thinng you need to know-- how to hide your anger when your wife drags you with her new V and spanks you
kidding...

But anyway, congrats on the purchase--I'm sure she'll like it, pretty good deal too

I would personally talk to the head mechanic and make sure your new bike is tuned. I think some dealers take a bike out of the crate, set it up and give it to you without really testing it. They had to mess with the carbs on mine the day I got it. The last thing you want to do when breaking in your new quad is have to mess with the mixture screws and the idle adjustment. I would also have them double check the toe-in alignment. These won't handle right if they are not perfectly toed-in about 1/4" to 1/2" (others may have opinions on this). Try and talk them in to giving you an oil filter and a couple quarts of oil so you can change it after the first tank or two of fuel.
Most importantly.....Make sure your wife doesn't punch the throttle until she is ready, because the V will stand straight up and throw you off it your not paying attention.
Have Fun!
