Hey, I recently got my 91 mojave running right, after i replaced the float on my carb, and gt new gaskets, but i was wondering some recomeneded upgrades for a mojave for racing? any help from the mojave professionals out there?

start with a new exhaust, k&n air filter or uni clamp. Also, if you want more speed, maybe trying the 330 kit.

 

Welcome to the forum[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I agree with mdyjeepgrl, get a aftermarket exhaust and a filter system. I had a supertrapp on mine and it ran ok, after I put the k&n on at with a stage II jet kit, it really woke it up. For the type of riding that I enjoy doing, I'm very pleased. There are a few guys here that have some tricked out mojaves, I am sure they will jump in for you when they see your post. Lt. Dan

And what do u mean by a uni clamp

 

Its a clamp on air filter that removes the suffocating stock air box. The filter clamps on to the carb.

 

Manhster is right about he uni clamp on. As for the kit, I'm not really sure about the 310, but I know there is a 330 kit. I'm pretty sure you could get more answers about the kit through Hanover Cycle Works Racing (717) 637-1907 or micky dunlap (814) 842-6159.

 

CWR makes a 300 and a 330 kit for the mojave. I would go through Greg because he specializes in mojaves so he knows what he is doing. I dont know Gregs number at the moment but if you search for it you can find it.
