I believe if you called Mickey and requested a higher rev limiter he would make one for you but it would cost money. I also think Procomp sells their CDI with the same rev limiter at Mickeys but they also have a racing version with a higher limiter yet. I think it was Procomp, if not it is Dyna Tech but that would be for the Praire not the V-Force.

If you wait you may also find that there are some more CDI's coming down the pipe, they may offer more features than the current models and maybe more performance. For now you could get bigger rear tires and mill the primary clutch, also a higher shiftout might help too.

Sound like you've got great power.

If your hitting the rev limitor, talk to dale at dalton and get some heavier clutch weights, which would give more pick up and bite on the belt and bring your RPM's back down so your at peak power.

full throttle I don't think your hitting the rev limiter, 10500 rpms, the best I ever have done was 8760 rpms with an HPD plain spring, which is 79.2 mph, thats on loose dirt road. I can probably reach about 9200 with the nitrous but I don't have enough road around here for that.I think we just run out of clutch. Does anybody else with a vforce not a prarie have any maximum rpm ratings. I think they just run out of clutch. all my testing was with 22"tires

got to be 1 or 2 things either hitting rev limiter or i thought same thing run out of clutch. have epi yellow high stall but low shift out, maybe higher shift out spring .if u see this mickey or anybody else that knows what is mickey cdi rev limit 1000 or 2500 rpm over stock thought 2500 if it is hard to believe hitting rev limiter but guess could be.i'll try higher shift out spring

Give Dale a call at Dalton like Shotgun suggests. He has his 785 V-force clutched right on the money! I talked with him on Monday about V's and Prairies clutches, the clutch is max out at about 500ft. after that it is HP that gets more mph. I am going to try their new orange and blue primary spring, which he suggests works better than the blue. Fullthrottle about how far are you getting before you feel the hesitation?

FULLTHROTTLE... is it possible you are spattering oil out your crankcase vent & sucking it into the carbs at WOT ??? I'm currently relocating my crankcase vent, out of the filterbox, because of high RPM oil spatter....
