you got to open up that air box and i would jet a little more, somewhere in the 158,160 range this is with more air in of course.add a second snorkle to that thing and if you do you should shim the needles.

have you changed your clucth spring yet?? it goes hand in hand with the pipe. you are moving the peak hp up a little and a stiffer spring is needed to take advantage of this

Check your plugs. That is the only way to dial it in. You may want to wait until you get your air filter on 1st. That may change the need for your jet size.

I have the Dalton kit installed, weights, spring, face plate. What does the shims do. Here in Ga we get a dust finer than baby powder.I wanted to stay away fron air box mods but if thats what it takes I will mod that sucker. Thanks for the replies and info

The shims raise the stall and the shiftout a bit. It is good to have a little bit of stall for drag racing. The stall will allow for higher rpms before the clutch engages. That in turn will let you spin your tires off the line, instead of popping a wheelie.

when you start to open the air box you may notice that it bogs a little of idel and runs poor at less than 1\2 throttle. shimming the needles will add more fuel in this range.
