ok..here it goes..my bro and I have come to the conclusion that my bike is "modified-stock" right from the factory(I know it sounds weak)..I had to order my bike as a '03 and it took several weeks to arrive in fact almost a month..we were told that is the first 03 in the southern tier of NY and after a hotly contested debate we have determined by a "seat of the pants" review that mine is still as fast as his even without the cdi..my question is..and call me if you thinks its bogus...that mine was meant to be a dealer demo ride ,and therefore,slightly "tuned"..I realize this sounds crazy and it is all just hypothetical but it is feasible..is'nt it??[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

There are many debates about the true performance of the modules and CDIs. Was yours as fast in all areas of the powerband? If it slacked off anywhere compared to his, then you have a true stocker.

I'll call you on it punk! It's that red paint job that's slowing you down...trust me on this. Get a few cans of flat black spray paint and paint it up real nice, then maybe you can hang with me...but I doubt it!!
