well,constantly harrassing maxxis sounds like about the only way to get the job done...

 

He does like to beat a dead horse don't he!~lol I'm on my 2nd set of Radial Big Horns with NO problems! Before I bought the 2nd set In was concerned so I called Maxxis, They told me if I had ANY problems just send them back to where ever I bought them from for a full refund or exchange. I don't understand if your having problems with the tires why you keep riding them? and why log 50 to 100 miles and think its going to be any different? Just send them back already!~LOL. I think there is something more to this story?-lol

We were asked to wait untill the new tires get shipped from over seas, we just want people to know that there are some tire problems before they spend big money, I love my BH for Riding, so do most that have the problem.

 

The problem has been discovered and new tires are now starting to arrive at Maxxis.

from what i understand it has been totally taken care of , maxxis aware of the problem, a poorly made batch so to say adn has offered to replace bighorns sold beofre whatever date.. the "new" bias bighorns are perfectly fine as are the radials..

 

The problem is still not fixed, as Maxxis can not seem to get the "new" tires in numbers great enough to solve the problem, and additionally, they are asking the customer to pay to swap them off and the shipping cost to return the bad tires back to Maxxis. They have solved the issue with production, but the ones at dealers rioght now still are the "old" ones and can have the same problem.

 

Hmm, I'm gettin' itchy to buy a set of tires. I was thinking getting a set.
My paranoia being what it is....
I see nebraska tire has the 26" advertised- I'm really leaning to radials
Any other good rad's avail?

26's Bighorns are not available yet. According to Harry Tripp at Maxxis they will probably not be out until late October, or maybe even November.
