Default P 360 holeshot module

OK Newbeatle, sorry for knockin the Dial a jet(ididnt say junk) My stock main is a 155, and with my mods I installed a 150 and no reaction. That is why I hate to go any leaner on the main.. I recieved my new jets today from SUDCO.com, and will start experimenting with them tomorrow, although they shorted me the 158 (go figure) but did send me the 160-162-165-170 and also a pilot jet 92 (seems kinda big but i am not sure which pilot i have in there.

Hey Uinthias, you got the service manual on the 360 to see the wiring diagram??? I will take a look tomorrow and see if I can find the infamous "PINK WIRE" and see if I can track wiring from the speed sensor to the cdi---Is that the only contact with the cdi , the pink wire??? with the other two being power and ground??

all of the modules ( bottom end ), are 3 wire hookup, except for the new DG-3, which has 5 ( one being a switch wire )... the pink wire, & hot & ground...

any chance of copying and sending the wiring diagram??? Or possibly reading the diagram to see how many and what color wires leading to the cdi----WHERE IS THE CDI ANYWAY????? I am just guessing that I will find it under the seat near the battery???

I'd like to think the modules will work on the p360 but I doubt they have detuned it all.

By the way we hated the red secondary spring and it will be coming out soon. The power gain was there but it generated more heat causing vapor lock issues...

I think we'll accept that it isn't a fast quad just a very capable one.

yea I'll copy it sometime today.. do you have a fax or do you want it e-mailed? I prefer fax if possible (scanning takes forever)

Mike I hated the red seconadry at 1st as well, however after putting a couple hundred of miles the spring weaked somewhat & I liked it much better.. I only use mine in the winter for the snow, I like the extra low & mid end it produces. I had only 1 time that I experienced vapor lock with it, but I havent insulted the tank yet either

Uinthas,

We had vapor lock/sputter/bog down well over 10 times this weekend. It was worse when the tank was 1/2 full or below and it went away when we filled up the tank. Its not even hot here yet so I will pull the spring out and insulate the tank before memorial day. My wife loved the extra power of the spring but it caused too much heat. We rarley ride that fast but it only topped out at about 40 with the red spring.

Hey Uinthas
You can fax it to the attention of Tim @ 724 537-9313
Do you think a fax will come through clear enough to track and read the wiring??? I am not sure how big the diagram is, but faxes usually suck. I'll let you know---And I have run quite a few times on an almost empty tank and have not experienced any stumbling associated to heat---but I will let you know--I am very anxious to install a couple of those bigger main jets to see if it wakes up that advanced fly wheel key----think i'll start with the 170 and work my way down.

yea the heat I'm sure can be a problem.. wow 40mph.. doesn't hurt mine that much.. After looking at your pictures, looks like you ride in the same terrain & elevations as myself, have you tried re-jetting the 360? I generally ride between 5000ft - 10,500ft.. I went from the stock 155 down to a 150 on the main & didn't do anything at lower elevations, but once you get above say 8000ft I noticed I did not loose power like I did with the 155..

oldman, I'll get my manual at lunch 2-3pm MDT & copy it & then fax over, I would think it should turn out just fine, but let me know if it doesn't
