Default Exhaust Info...AGAIN

I know P650 exhaust threads have been numerous with everyone having a different opinion, I am just trying to sort out the best info. Any help would be appreciated. I am in the market for a new exhaust, I have the NYROC mod but want more. After extensive reading of previous posts, I've narrowed it down to these, correct me if my presumptions are wrong:

1. HMF - It's a slip-on, full system no longer available. Very loud, but sounds good. Can get a quiet core insert and gets probably the best gains. There has been some doubt on reliability and noise has been a large factor for a lot that don't like it. But best gains most likely.

2. Supertrapp ISDX - Full system I believe. Good tone but quiter than HMF, still louder than stock, supposedly sounds good. I've never seen one in person, can't tell first hand which is gives me some doubt. Gains are there but don't think they are as much as HMF. A lot of people like it, but don't know if it's worth it compared to the HMF. I love the sound of the HMF, but the gains are what I'm looking for.

3. Big Gun - Good gains, good sound, but some people are reporting that they aren't holding up and are built like crap.

Just trying to make sense and narrow them down. I've been hooked on the HMF for a while, but I wouldn't mine something a little quiter with as good, if not better, gains. I also like the price of the HMF, but I don't think the Supertrapp ISDX is that far behind.

Looking for a little help. I guess performance gain is #1 for me, with sound coming in at #2.

What do you all think?

I apologize, I know I'm beating a dead horse.

Default Exhaust Info...AGAIN

Unless it makes a huge difference on the v-twin, I've heard a Supertrapp IDSX on a Grizzly 600 and it wasn't loud at all. Just a tad bit more noticeable then stock, especially as you build up the revs. I didn't ride it so I have no idea on performance gains. You didn't mention the FMF Powerline, why? It's the full system that Dirt Wheels put on their "Project Prairie" in an earlier issue from last summer. It's supposedly not loud and makes decent gains, although I've seen no dynos at all. Reliability shouldn't be a problem because it's all stainless with no rivets to loosen out. Best of all, no need to repack EVER.

Your Sig does not say DG3, CDI or Degree key.

If you already have the Nyroc mod, you will get a very insignifcant power increase with an aftermarket muffler. You would be spending a lot for just a little.

You should get a DG3 module and either move the mag pickup or get a degree key. That will give you a lot of bang for your buck.

The 03 airbox helps a little too.

Thanks Nyroc.

My buddy has the HMF slip-on. His seems to make better power. But you know how it is when trying to compare 'like' quads. I have 26 Mudrunners, he has 26 589 m/s. I've got the Holeshot module, he doesn't. Both jetted, DG snorkle, TwinAir filters. I've shimmed my secondary with a black spring and replacement belt and have about 1500 miles. He hasn't touched his belt or clutch and has 1200 miles.

My quad seems to be more broken in ('loose', in a good way) than his. But they ride different.

The main reason I haven't bought an exhaust yet is b/c I'm not sure of the gains. He just ordered the CDI, and of course, I can't let him get the edge....yet
