Hey I am going to start do some mild mods to my V-Force to try and get just a little more out of it. I noticed that a couple of companies make slip on exhaust mufflers for it. They are a couple hundred less than the Muzzys I have been looking at. I was wondering if anyone has tried any of these and how they compare to stock and to full systems. Do they make a noticable improvement over stock or just louder than stock. I haven't ever put an after market exhaust on a quad or four stroke motorcycle before so, I thought I would ask the experts. Also has anyone tried a Nyroc mod on a V muffler and does it do anything on a V. I know the V is a little louder and deeper sounding than the prairie how different are the mufflers, any idea? Just trying to decide how to spend the little money I have left to get the most bang for the buck thanks.

 

A friend of mine did the nyroc mod to his v force and it sound ok and he said he could feel a difference.

 

My dealer (Xtreme Performance in Castle Rock, CO) brings in a dyno once a month to use in tuning mods, clutch dialing, jetting, etc. He has tested a lot of exhaust mods and has yet to see one deliver any noticeable power gain.
