Default Setting the KFX 400 up for the woods

Just picked up A KFX400 and I need to make it trail worthy. It needs more bottom end and more clearance (hits everything!) It has a aftermarket skid on it not sure of the brand but it hangs very low compared to friends AC. I Would like to put some 22's in the rear. How would it handle with the same tire size up front and what brand should I go with? Im going to drop 1 tooth in the front and 2 in the rear, should help with the low end. What motor mods can I do except exaust (need to be quiet) to wake this thing up?

as for the tires i would go with the razr 2,there awesome for woods and mud. Also if your going 22 in the rear i would run 23 up front.

First off get rid of stock tie rods, stock bend very easy, next stretch rear swing arm 3 and a quarter inch works great on hills, handles better than stock, use 400 ex carb really picks up power, drop front sprocket 2 teeth, lot faster out of turns, this is some of the mods we have did on my sons bike he likes it a lot better.

Check out the Pro Armor read skid plate. It is strong and allows additional ground clearance. Mine works real good.
