HPD Spring
Hey brewster...
Here is the link for HPD. Back when I had the origional weights in my V and no pipes, I thought I would give this spring a try. I had been trying to get a spring that would help my V keep up with my cousin's piped Predator. Well, I installed the HPD plain and the Preddy passed me going even faster than without the plain spring.I also did not like the amount of stall it had and was not comfortable using it out on the trails. It turned out that the HPD spring overreved the engine past it's power making rpm's and in turn hampered the performance.
I just recently installed pipes and Dalton Kit and thought I would give the Plain spring another shot. I lined up against the Preddy and shot out of the hole beating him by 3 or 4 legnths and held that lead all the way through the race "500 feet".Also, the heavier weights from the Dalton kit brought down the stall to the point of being an excellent trail riding spring. I will never need to buy another spring for the V again. DEFINATELY worth the $$. Good luck man...
