Trade in Grizz for V Force or not?
#1
I am knocking around the idea of trading in my 02' Grizz for a V Force. I only wonder if the V would be that much better than my P700, meaning worth the money for the diffrence. I've never been on a V but my P700 has the dyna cdi and a couple other mods. If you were gona make a trade and wanted a sport bike of any brand (be honest), what would it be?

That all depends on what you plan to use the sport quad for. If you plan to use it primarily at an MX track, then I'd recommend getting the YFZ 450 or 450R...but if you want one for trail riding or XC racing, then I'd probably recommend either the V-force 700 or the Kfx/z-400 (both have reverse and relatively soft suspension). I'm not sure which sport quad is best in the sand dunes as I live too far away from any dunes to know what is the best sport quad for that purpose.
Good luck on your decision and happy trails...

I'm gona ride woods and a little gnc race now and then MikeyB, and I'm not sure what is the fastest KVF700. Thank's for the replies but, is the V much better than my P700? What about a rapter? I have owned KAW's for years and this is only a question! I'm going on my input from the forum on what I get, let's get it done.

I say go ride the V-Force and decide if you like it or not. I kicked it around for awhile then I rode one my wife saw the stupid grin on my face as I was doing little wheelies on it at the dealers test field. The next week I came home she had a brand new green one in my truck. I love it feels different than the Prairie. Smoother at high speed and much quicker than a stock P700. Just depends on where you ride and what you like. The Raptor felt to small to me and the 450s are even smaller but they are wicked fast. Go ride one and then decide.

They're dominating the woods racing scene right now, so that should be right up your alley. You'll notice quite a difference over a 700 Prairie becuase the V is much lighter. DirtVH is right, go ride one and see for yourself.

Your size will probably be a big factor. If you are near 6' or taller, the V will fit like a glove. At least this is my take on it. After riding the V, the raptor, yfz, etc. all feel awkward. They may feel great to a small-mid size person, just my opinion. I'm 6'2'' and the balance and ride of the V is perfect. The 450R, yfz, and raptor can probably be made a little faster on top end dollar for dollar. Remember that the V is relatively new though, and it's untelling what the future holds for mods. My guess is that it will take a little more money to make it wicked fast, but if you want it to double as a trail machine, it very well may be worth it compared to the manual trans models. I personally hate dealing with shifting and clutching in rutted out terrain, not to mention the issues with chains. I recently sold a mustang gt that I really liked to make room for the V. The sound and torque of the V with the dual pipes has helped me forget my car. That's probably a little irrelevant, but I thought I would throw it in It would be awesome to have both a V and a Prairie. Good luck with whatever you choose.
