Default Dyna CDI died at the worst time!

Have had my CDI installed in my prairie for a month or more. I have ridden it many times with many starts and stops and etc. I did have 2 or 3 kickbacks in this time.
Today I was 2 hours away from my house and it just died. Wouldnt start back for anything. Well I loaded up and drove the 2 hours back to my house. Installed the factory CDI and it started up. I suppose I will make the 2 hour trip back to where my friends are and ride tommorrow.
The CDI will be boxed up and sent back for repair. I hope it doesnt start happening to other ones. One word of advice, ALWAYS KEEP THE FACTORY CDI CLOSE !!!!!!

My buddy put a cdi on his kfx-700 and it made the check belt light come on and killed the power. Whats with the cdi?

Keep the factory CDI in the box under the seat. I do just incase. One never knows. I like the power my DFS2-13 gives me but the kickback sucks!

Dyna Emailed me about the kickback. They said send it in and they will correct it. They found a part that was probably the reason for the kickback. I should have sent mine in before it just completly died............... And yes always carry the stock one in the storage area!
