hi
the problem is my bike wont rev up it idles fine but as soon as you get past 1/3 throttle it starts to back fire and run rough, also when i start to rev it it is very sluggish, before it got this bad it would go really good for a while then play up(usually out the back of nowhere).i got a new carb fitted about 1 month ago and know that it fine,i was thinking something to do with the electrical side of things.any help where to look would be great

I don't know. Mine did the same thing, and it was the carb. If I were you, I would double check the main jet. As far as the ignition goes, backfiring could be caused by low primary voltage, that will allow it to fire at low RPM's, but will cause backfiring at higher RPM's because it takes more voltage. I don't know much about the ignition on the Bayou. Is your quads charging system working OK? It turns over pretty fast when you hit the starter button?
