First of all, what the heck is it exactly? It claims an 8% increase in horses on the website, but how? On eBay, an auction for one claims it will work even better with "the better battery." What better battery? Any details are welcome here.

Are tou talking about the rectifier? If so, If you have a good battery that doesnt require alot of charging; one that will hold its charge longer with some pull on it the rectifier shuts off the drain of the magneto. Glad your reading and not listening to me talk I`d be out of wind. In doing that less strain on motor. Will it work? I dont know. 8% is alot of gain for that.

Redgoblin i got one and it charges harder when activated, i did this for drag racing reasons, when it is activated it charges 14.8 v with lights on and fan running (stock was 14.2) and when the battery is at full charge i can feel a little difference it is better, but if it is activated it takes more power and i think you can feel that also for the worst, it does work however but it is no 8 percent gain and if your batt is not up to par it will hurt you, hope i helped J.H.
