Default Warrranty Questions

What are most dealers, and kawasaki's for that matter, opinions on mods. Now my dealer sold me my new twin peaks with 27" 589's right out the door so I'm assuming they can't hassle me for any problems that may arise from having larger than stock tires. Is that a correct assumption. Also what would be their stance on upgrading the driven spring and getting an ignition module?

Thanks in advance guys, it was this forum that led me to my happy purchase of my 04 twin peaks now with a whopping 10 hours on it!

all dealers are different when it comes to warranty work. my dealer is crooked they will try every way in the world to not fix things under warranty. i dont think they will say anything about the 27" tires cause they were on there when you bought it. but if you add any more mods they might not like it too good. some dealers dont care as long as they do the mods to it. when i bought my 03 p650 i had some progressive springs and the black driven spring put on and they told me the driven spring would void my warranty, and it did. i got mad and said a few things i shouldnt have the told them im glad i didnt buy the extended warranty.

if you wanted to put an aftermarket driven spring and cdi on it that would be fine just as long as you put the stock ones back on if you ever need to have it worked on. they wont even know nothin about it.
