I have a p700 and my aculator make a electrical noise before it disengages. It sounds like sparks.
Kind of like wireing to it making sparking noise. It does it before it disengages only. If I keep it at a low speed before it disengages it will make that noise a lot. Should I bring it in? It's still under warranty. I don't remember it ever sounding like that. Any help would be great.waranty.

 

How many miles on it? How long have You had it? and You think the noise has changed???

Is the KEBC cover loose or has it moved?? Put your hand on it and hold it tight while you turn it off.

My grandson rode around standing on my cover for about three hours, and I had the feeling that he had moved it a little, I took it off, and put it back on and a noise cleared up....

 

It doesn't do it when I shut if off it's when I slow down from rideing it. It has 200 miles on it. I took it in already when I first bought it. It was makeing the screaching noise when it disengages. Ive read posts about that but its a different noise.

 

Maybe somebody in here really knows the right answer. I think this quad is pretty complicated, compared to my Raptor, so I'm hoping I don't have a lot(any) problems, cause some of this fancy whizbang eeelectronic stuff can fool a lot of people, including me.

 

I'm guessing your engine brake bearing is bad. just a guess.

 

my actuator was making a screeching sound and doing other weird stuff and the actuator had to be replaced. if it is still under warrenty i would deffinetly take it in

 

The funny thing is when it first started to screech I took it in. Then when I took it in they said it never made the sound. I got it back and it did it maybe once or twice more and now it's not screeching. Before I took it in it did it all the time and it was loud too. I went riding a few weeks ago, and it seems after that it started to make that ticking sound like electrical noise it sounds like.
