we need to know the rigidity and sizes of the tire because flex of the tire is dependante of
1- rigidité ofthe tire
2- volume off the tire in air and the bigger the tire the more dramaticly the volume of air goes up inside it.
remenber the pressure is in pounds per square inch, thus bigger volume means less air to support the same wheight as before.
Conclusion: bigger tires mean a lot less air pressure (from 6 to 4) because you have more inches of air in the tire supporting the same weight. If the tire is heavier, we want to determine if it is stiffer really. estimate this my putting a weight on top of the empty tire (no rims or no air) to see how much it gets depressed. the stiffer the tire, the less air to get the same ride. therefore bigger and stiffer tires mean a big drop in pressure to get same handling. they are usually a bit firmer at 2-3 psi less than the original tires.
