how many miles do you guys have on your 4-wheeler. What repairs have you had to make and what is the model and year. thanks and have fun.

 

03 prairie 650, bought in aug of 03, NO probalms,stock (very bald) tiers, almost 1700 miles[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img].... does any one know how many miles these things are good for befor u have to start thinking about a rebuild?

 

3,500 miles 500 hours ,1 fan motor (my fault) 2 sets of tires 3belts (1ST belt my fault), it gets worked hard and played hard Engine will run indefinitly if you change oil and keep dirt and water out, and do not run it hot, this engine has road bike qualitys it will last a very long time this is a well designed quad all in all, I was never intrested in a full size quad till the V motor that is what sold me and my decision was a good one. jh

 

Hi guys, first post here. I have a 2002 650 Prairie I bought new in May 2002. I've put 3000mi on it in 222hrs. I've pulled far more weight with it than you're supposed to, ridden for miles through creeks and rivers, pulled a dead Polaris, shamed a couple of 660's, etc. I've serviced it six times with Mobil1 5W30, Fram filters, Mobil1 10W30 in front and Hy-Tran Ultra in the rear. It has never given me a problem. It is still ALL original. I wish it had grease fittings, but call me 99% pleased!

 

'03 650 1200miles 217hours 1 kebc actuator, various stripped bolts (my fault [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] ) original belt tightened once, due for another tightening soon. sotck tires were still rideable, just got fed up with them. you name it ive done it with this thing and it still comes back for more!

 

650 2002: 20,000km 1000hrs lots of work. engine rebuilt at 15000, carbs, shock, etc... runs like a top now, works too good to sell.
700 2004: 3,700km nothing yet except added gas.
