FirePig, the link BudO posted is a great place for info. I would start by turning the screw out like KawiTuner said and no it won't harm the machine. The Idle circuit feeds the engine fuel from idle to about 1/4 throttle. You can adjust the mixture with the fuel screw and you could also change the pilot jets.

KawiTuner, let the rest of us in on how to get 74+mph out of our Prairie700's. I sent you a PM but no answer. I'll bet it takes more than just a flywheel degree key, or a set of pipes. I am very interested in what mods are involved.

ya , exaclty even the v-forces have trouble getting up to 74 mph. The praire weighs an extra 150 pounds. No offence but i dont really believe it, you could have bigger tires that fooled your stock sensor to read a mph

On my 04 P700 I hit 67 on flat top road could not get any faster, I had plenty of room to open it up but after about 1/4 mile at 67 I figured that it wasn't gonna get to 68.

Im sure this p700 will go over 74 with a rider over 250lbs on flat pavement. It has a airbox without holes and the stock exhaust to. No BBK or cams. I will help all you guys 1 at a time.
I want Kawi in the front of the pack.
Who Needs the Brute Force, I can make a p700 smoke it! Did I say wheelies over 50.
