Does anyone know what you have to do to make an ATV street legal in Michigan? I was just wondering how much stuff you have to do to make an atv street legal, thanks.

I live in Ohio, and dont lnow much bout michie, but i think you need turn signals,brake lights,headlight,and plates.

Why would anyone want to make a ATV street legal, buy a motorcycle. The idea of a ATV is for off road use the whole,design of these machines are based on off road usage,Geeees,,

 

It would be nice if the quad were street legal enough to use regular roads to go between off road trails, this is very true in the State and National forests.

Some staging areas at the trailhead are a little hard to get to in a street legal vehicle pulling a trailer. Yet they require a street licensed vehicle to use the road to it.

I’m not so sure that the kit at the linked site is what I would be looking for though.

As to the wild street machine quads, maybe there will be a new market. The future could be a Ninja quad with a 1000cc four cylinder.
