I just got my DG3 in the mail last week. I've got it hooked up and it works great, but mine only had 4 wires also. I could see where the white wire used to be, but it had been cut off flush with the face of the module. There was no mention of a white wire in my instructions either and I bought it from Diamond G Racing.

 

I used my white wire to hook up a cut off switch and the dg3 didn't work. The technician that made the module told me it shorted out by the white wire running to the front to the switch. They said they were going to cut off the wire from now on but if you want they will send you another way for a shut off.

 

I also just received a new DG3 and it does not have the white either. Any info on how to wire that switch in would be great?

I installed the DG3 this evening...very easy install. I purchased a small 3 prong switch that the instructions called for but I couldnt get the switch to operate the unit. Either the LED flashed the way I assume it is supposed to or it flashed very quickly and then the light on the switch wouldnt work???? It is installed without a switch currently and I guess it will stay that way, I just couldnt figure out what wasnt working. It is a very basic set of instructions for the switch. Maybe the fact that I purchased a switch with a smell LED for on had something to do with it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]
