I run 10w30 RP in everything I own, I will be putting it in my quad at next oil change. I have done the dyno test personally in my LS-1 and it is a gain from 5-7 RWHP over convintional oils. It is a great oil in my opinion.

I believe in Royal Purple's products. I have been using their rad. additive called Purple Ice for about 1 year and it works well. I can't afford their motor oil, but I would definitely give it a try in my quad if I had the money for it. Another reason I like R.P. is b/c its a local company (near Houston, TX).

Happy trails...

I have been using Royal Purple oil for many years in all my cars and ATVs. I use 10w-30 in my cars but had to buy a 5-gallon pail of 10w-40 just for my P-700.

The primary reason I use it, is the company I work for is one of the suppliers of their base stock (Poly Alpha Olefin). This base I know is of high quality and very stable at extreme temperatures.

The quality of their product will be hard to beat and for the high powered machines that the ATV companies are building today you need all of the advantages you can get.

Griz,
I see that you use Royal purple in Texas, my question is do you buy just the regular Royal Purple 10W-40 or is their some oil from them specifically designed for ATVs by Royal Purple. Thanks for your help in advance.

RP does make an ATV oil but you are looking at about 8-9$ a qt if I remember correctly. I run RP 10-30 in mine.

I run the Royal Purple 10w40 and 20-50 in both my high performance 785 V-Force and Prairie 700, I like the maxifilm spray as well. I use to run Amsoil but felt it got dirty quick and also feel Royal Purple is a Company that really focuses on High Grade Synthetic Oils. Other then getting Granny Jinkens selling the Oil out of the back of Papa Joe's trunk along with vitamins and nutritional supplements?~LOL -coop
