Default k&n filter, dynojet or kehlin jets?? on p-700

I'm looking to increase power and throttle response on my p-700. I know i should increase air flow so am looking at the k&n filter.
My question is should i bother with the dynojet kit (I've hears mixed reviews) or just change the mains.
Also if anyone can tell me where to start. I'm running the stock 138/142 right now. Ihear it runs better on 142/145 but would that be ok with my new filter.

I don't want any holes in my airbox lid or exhaust, just a slight improvement in throttle response (across the board) and power increase is all I'm looking for.

I allready beat my friends grizzly....now i want to make him cry!!

I personally had poor luck with the jet kits, but they may have worked the bugs out since then. I use Keihin jets, 148-150, with my current level of mods. I would put on the K&N filter; if the machine feels the same or weaker, go to 142-145.

Some guys pull the float bowls w/o removing anything! I find it too aggravating to do it that way. I remove the "gas tank" plastic and then remove the airbox from the top of the carbs. That allows the carbs to rotate slightly and makes the bowl screws easier to get at. Unbolt the fuel petcock and move it out of the way, too.
