I just bought a V the other day and i was checkin into the mods and i was pickin some stuff out i chose the T-4s, uni filter, and air box mods then i saw somethin about a spring bein the best bang for the buck and i was wondering what they are and what would be the best for me. I ride average trails with a little bit of mud probably an average speed of ten mph. What is the best spring for this, im kinda new to this automatic scene.

 

It is the spring in the primary drive clutch. Affects shift rate.
Check out Dalton Ind.
Dale will help you get what you want.
Dalton Blue primary will do the trick.

 

I bet Dale recommends the Plain/White spring for a stock P650/700.

 

Lets take a pole of all the kawi members
and we will see how many still have stock bikes, no mods at all.

My point exactly I have a Dalton Blue in ours(74)

 

I meant no motor mods like cams, big bore kits, ect. The majority dont have those.

The majority has rejetted, larger air intake with filter, some kind of module. Guess I should have clarified that in the first reply.
