I recently did some jetting on my 02 P650. I went to the 145 main on the rear and 142 on the front. I added .028 shims under the needles. My air screws are set at 2.5 rear, 2.25 front. I am at ~ 600 ft. I have the DG snorkel, Twin Air filter, and stock muffler. It starts and runs fine with no hesitation.

However, when going up hill with the engine loaded, I can hear a noise that sounds like it may be coming from the air box or snorkel. It is a minor “psst”, “psst” type of noise. Sort of like shots of compressed air. I don’t think it is detonation. It is not as definite as the cough they will make taking off when cold.

Any suggestions on what it is and what my next step should be?
