No it wasnt insured. Im hoping my homeowners insurance will cover it.
Yea, those F%$#&& scum bags lifted it right out of the trailer.
I had my truck parked 2 inches behind the gate so you couldnt get it down and the trailer hooked to the motor home and those F%#@*& lifted it over the rails to get it out and even took the tie downs to secure it to there vehicle. this happen right in front of my house.
thanks for the concern

Sorry m8..your homeowners WONT cover it unless the atv is used exclusivly for the maintanance of the property..I've been down that road..and if they can get even one of your neighbors to say you ride it for recreation you lose..hate to say it but its written into your policy because of the hi theft rate of atv's..ive been down this road to the tune of 6k...and you need a receipt for a lawn mower to prove that its used for property maintainance..and there gonna say you have a sport quad to boot..sux man..ive been there..

I can only hope that it gets recovered.

when my 02 fourtrax 450 es got swiped in broad daylight out of my garage at 10 am on a saturday,it had 10 hours on it and about 100 miles..the sherriff was sure that they( mine was #38 that summer)were being stripped and sold to online parts retailers,if its a theft ring, which is my guess, they arnt going to keep the unit whole..theyll strip it and sell it for parts...thats why the recovery rate for atv's is so low..its worth way more if they can peice it out.

at any rate..I feel your pain..I now make sure Ive got full coverage on all of my buggys..300 bux year is a hell of a lot cheaper than 6300...rotton C0^&sukers should be hung and shot..or at least flogged a few times..

Sounds like its "STING" time. Cops should set out desireable ATV's in similar places as yours, and watch for someone to come get them. Maybe even let them have one that has a tracking device hidden on it, then get them where it hurts.

Dont have to be a cop to run a ( Sting!) park quad out front, sit in bushes, sting with bacon rinds and rock salt from 38'' barrel 10 ga. call cops yes it will sting allright! , but really 400 prairie xlt you are right but the cops seem too busy to crack something like this. They say around here in indiana its the meth heads doing this and if they want the meth heads why not kill two crimes with one action! i don't get it. Best Regards J.H.

If you don't mind me asking, where/how was it stolen? Your unfortunate circumstance might help others from making the same mistake. (Assuming that you made a mistake. If someone breaks into a garage to get at it, there's not much you can do.)

I'll keep an eye out for it up here in Vegas. Haven't seen many Vs around so I'm sure one will catch my eye if I pass one.
