Brute force vs. Prarie 700
I guess he means a drag race. Will it outmud the BF? Does it ride as good? Sure it will beat it in a few categories, but it will probably lose in a few others. Its about impossible to make the ideal quad, because you will always have to sacrifice one thing for another.

Check the CVT belt tension. On the Prairies, it seems to pull wheelies from a dead stop much easier if the belt is tight (within spec). A loose belt seems to make it harder to pull wheelies. Also, you should try to get the Dyna cdi or any module to eliminate the retarded timing at take-off and also get better tires than stock (more traction usually means you can pull wheelies instead of just spinning your tires).

I Guess you guys herd that pooolaris did come out with a fake 800, at least in my book a 760 is just that a 760. I could go along with a 5 to 15 cc fudge factor but not 40 cc's. I Guess Yamaha can go ahead and start calling the Raptor, Rhino, and Grizzly's the all new 700's and averyone will rush out to get them.
I think by the end of the year the V-force and the P700 will enherit the BF's engine just like when the P650 got the V-force engine. I have always herd it was cheaper to build the engines the same vs a few 650s a few 700s and a few 750's. That just makes sense to me that as soon as the new of the BF weres off they will want to fire up the public intrest by releasing a 750 V-force and later yet get a final PR bounce from the Prarrie 750 to close out the year as an early release 2005. I know that would be my marketing statagy for the Year. You know they wont drop the SRA big bore quad it is what has made them a real , real force in the current ATV market and you can bet Kawi knows there are a lot of us riders that like a little more sport in there sport utility ATV"s than an IRS quad can give.
If you can't slide the a$$ end around with a little blipp of the throdle I don't want it. I love to through my STP700 and P650 around on the trails and at the dunes, IRS Quads are just borring to ride. on a 1 or 2 hour trip in places you ride all the time. I like a Quad that can play and play hard. I like an IRS quad only for the real senic all day rides were I not riding just to have fun but riding to get somewhere like in colorado.

cc1999,
I agree with you 100% about sliding the rear end around. Like you, I also like the sportier ride and also like the power down low for hill climbs and to lift the front end up every now and then..
My intentions where to purchase a Prairie 700 this upcoming fall, but I would wait for the 750 if they should ever develop one in the very near future...
