will timing key make you loose top end?
I had a dealer install my key, they broke a coil wire and had to order another. Cost me 150 dollars with the two gaskets. And another 50 to install blue dalton spring ,took out the white dalton. I used to get 60 mph, then after jet kit I got 62 with the mud lights, after the key and spring I only could get 57mph. I changed to the original spring and original tires myself (easy job but may have not got the torc right), now i can get 60. Didn't try the mud lights but i would think it would be less. I was wondering if the key is in backwards. Has anyone had that happen? Will the key slow you down if backwards?

if the key is in backwards the timing is retarded witch will slow you down if the key is in right it advances and should give you a little top end. all the key does is advance your timing. ck. your timing, the mark should be towards the top of the quad and if it's in wrong it'll be towards the bottom.
