Default pipe experience with hmf

Thanks to everyone for the advice. The twin peaks is exactly the same except stickers. Got my pipe today and it says for an 03 so maybe for a 650 since 700 wasn't out yet. Problem is looks like they welded the manifold pipe on the wrong outlet of the y pipe. Unless the 03 was different. The pipe was ordered for a 700 prairi.

Default pipe experience with hmf

Hmf says they made the pipe mounting to y pipe opposite the factory. It may work but am wondering if being for 650, how it will work on 700 or work at all for that matter. Compared to the pipe mod. ,wouldn't want to loose performance just so I get a spark arrester and a touch quieter. They claimed to have made 500 echo pipes for the 700 prairi, At 3 weeks per pipe, it would take them a lot longer than they have been out. No dyno or any opinions of gain from customer, just no complaints they say. Wonder how they fiqure a 5 horse gain on midrange. Lots of talk.
