I was cleaning my bike today and while washing it I pulled the spark plug wire out of the boot. I was able to slide it back in and the bike runs fine. Is it supposed to do that. I thought the wire was supposed to be crimped to the boot. Please help.

what kind of bike. i did the same thing on my 360, it's made that way check out buykawasaki.com and go to parts diagrams and check it out. that's what i did
