Default Atr fronts Gone.....Badlands XTR's on now

After countless tire pressure adjustments, toe end combo's,and balancing......I went to the Arctic Cat dealer and bought a couple Badlands front tires, took the handle bar shaking front Holeshot ATR's off and the front end shimmy is all but gone. toe is about 1/8 th inch toe in.......and they are night and day different from the Atr's....I can actually ride on pavement or hardpack now.......Now I know that ITP and Carlisle are the same company so to speak, but I will say that the plant that makes the ATR's have some definite quality control issue's that the Badlands plant doesn't have.....I don't think I will be buying any more ATR's front or rear, the ATR rear's are still on the bike as I have no problem with them, But the Badlands are in my opinion the better tire........

I think you made a good choice. I also have ATRs and I think the Badlands are a better tire. I just cant afford to switch tires at this time but if I could I would just buy the fronts. Im saving money for the 765 kit.

ITP tires have balance and uniformity problems in general.

Were the Badlands heavier than the holeshot atrs? I am very interested in the Badlands but worry they may be heavier and loose performance.

The Badlands XTR's are actually lighter by about 1-2 pounds per tire!!!

STAKK,

Thanks for the report, I'm going to try the same set-up myself now.

Stakk, are you willing to donate the old ATRs to the poor? I have a tire charity that I send old tires to (not me silly). I will pay shipping.
