If your hear a knock your screwed. Engine overhaul. OR it may be your oil pump if they have one. GOOD LUCK.

Hopefully the worst that happened, is a blown head gasket. A leak down test should tell if thats happened. Are you losing antifreeze? can you smell antifreeze when its running?

yes it is eating antifreeze but I don't smell antifreeze. haven't done a leak down test yet.

Have not ran it long enough to warm up

travelor

does your temp light come on? My buddy has a twin peaks that light came on all the time if radiator was not totally clean front and back. Used redline water wetter and his light has not come on once even with dirty radiater cruising around park at 5 mph

Thanks wildrides, I should try that water wetter. Where do you find that stuff? My radiator is clean. No light has showed up but once the temp sign was on, hard to read because no color or flashing to draw your attention. The bike loses antifreeze out the overflow without getting too hot anymore.

redline from summitracing.com

http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...G&N=120+400236

u should check or change the rad. cap and make sure the rad. neck has not been warped

Do you actually see fluid come out the overflow

might as well order some header wrap from summit too
