Default sunk kfx400

sunk in nasty mud with no air box lid and looking for help. i have drained the oil its fine now. carb is cleaned along with the jets. my bike turns over but does not start. what can i do please help

The horse is out of the barn so close the door so it can not get back in! Check your plug and see if there's spark, you could have contaminated your gas too.

i have a brand new plug and im geting a spark gas has been drained and replaced with fresh.

btw does anyone know were i can find the gap seting for the plug, the dealer set mine but i think it could be off, silly kids working there, they dont seem to know alot so i will double check.

I believe gap is 6.5-7.5 on all kawis.... I love these things dealers think of.... I keep my old parts for a reason.... oh really lets just try the old plug so I can say; whoa it still doesn't work.

i dont understand i needed a new plug anyway, and just asked them to gap it for me. they did it all for free including the plug. u make it sound like my dealer just wanted my money or somthing.

cheak the plugs that go into the cdi box if they are wet it can chang your timing or confues the spark
so give all the conections a spray try tow starting it more rpm on starting helps some times

HOOK THE BATTERY UP TO A CHARGER AND KEEP TRYING TO START IT. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO USE SOME ETHER TO GET IT STARTED.

how do u tow start a clutch bike? do u leave it in 1st or hold clutch and drop it when i get moveing and try to start it?

you want to drop the clutch in 2 or 3rd gear. Do not use first gear.
