Ive been looking to upgrade the mojave to give it a little more kick. So i was reading some old posts and i was wondering if anyone could tell me more about the CWR 330 kit and how to make a clamp on filter. I ride mostly woods only mod i have is a FMF Megamax 2.

 

i donno much about the 330 but get a carb from cycle works the 36mm mikuni works nice and you can buy the clampon filter from him too

Get yerself a 400ex carb off ebay for next to nothing, it's 1.5mm larger ,but more importantly- it has an accelerator pump that cleans up the small dead spot on the bottom; such as bliping the throttle over whoops. you'll also need an accompanying thumb or twist throttle to go with it. Hope this helps.

Greg is a great guy to deal with. I built my engine using his 330 kit. He was very helpful and did good work on the sleeve and boring. He does great port work too.

 

hey moaddict do you know how much horse power or torque you have i cant get answers from noone

 

not really, I have never had it on a dyno. all i know is it feels like big HP for such a small motor.

 

I just put a K&N clamp on in my mojave. But now i have a problem. It starts fine idle's fine and works up until i get to half throttle then it cuts out and bogs down like its goin to stall. How do i fix this.

 

Pull the plug and check your jetting it should be rich but it seems like what your describing is it being rich. I just put a clamp on, on my mojave. I just had to move the air screw in 1-1/2 turns.
