650 Steering Knuckle

Im in the process of installing a new steering knuckle has anyone else had one go bad? thought it was
the balljoint but no that was to cheap and to easy to replace thanks for listening

I put a wheel bearing in one 2 nights ago Jack bike up remove tire, remove brake caliper, remove hub and rotor ,remove lower ball joint cross bolt seperate, remove brake line from caliper and pull through knuckel, remove tie rod,remove upper cross bolts on the strut , it should be off in your hands.
