Remember When dial a jets were all the craze?????? And some of us got sucked right into it!!!!!!!!!

But heres what I'm thinkin!!! I have been looking into some nitrous sites (even do it yourself sites) and was wondering???

If I did a nitrous setup, and as NYROC I think mentioned, you not only need nitrous, but need to inject additional gasoline to keep it from leaning out----with a small shot of nitrous before the air cleaner(or even into the air cleaner) I wonder if the dial a jet would provide the proper fuel delivery????

I'm not sure how much fuel they flow, but a "well known puller", once tolf me, that they could easily be set up to pull gas from an additional tank, instead of the carb bowls, then nitromethane could be introduced...

FYI, High Lifter has bought one of the NOS companies, & now sells wet injection kits for ATV's...

 

Thanx Newbeatle for breaking up my dull day---got to go to Columbus OH tomorrow and dreading it---I did a google search last night on Nitrous and stayed up until 2:30 am---awesome stuff---I found an excellent site on building your own system---probably the way I would go---Pretty hefty price tag on the highlifter system---and as everyone should know, I just love taking things apart.

I feel there is probably some use for the dial a jet, and I am now also pretty sure I never jetted lean enough to give it a shot----I may give that dude from Dial a jet a call and run it past him.

Just dreamin on a slow afternoon
