Default is this true

I have heard that the belt on the KFX 700s slow down when the wheeler gets up in the rpms is this true and if it is how can u make it go faster cuz spending all that money on mods and still having it go the same speed is a wast of money isnt it.

all of the belt drive quads have a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). What this means is the transmission in always changing gear ratios. But I wouldn't go so far as to say the belt slows down. It couldn't be further from the truth. In the lower rpm's there is more "slippage" in the clutching, but as the rpm's increase, the ratio between the primary and driven clutch changes.

Top speed isn't everything in a quad unless your drag racing. More importantly is holeshots and power delivery throughout the rpm range in MX or GNCC.
