2wd 4wd flashing at 2 second intervals and kebc motor staying on at idle. We have tryed everything we can think of to fix it to no avail. Have swaped kebc actuator as well as 4wd actuator, controler, fuse box, ignitor, speed sensor. It will reset then start flashing right away or sometimes it will take a few minutes to act up again. Everything tests good. Any sugestions.

 

What year is the bike and is it still under warrenty? Maybe you should take it back to the dealer.

 

What mods have you made if any to the quad,,,,, I may have an idea!

 

the factory service manual has a decent section on code setting, and their causes/remedies. KOD has the manual online, I believe.

 

check the switch inside the clutch cover

 

I am a dealer but we still need help sometimes. Kawasaki has not been able to help us so far. We have checked all code and reset. These forums are helpfull to the dealer at times aswell. There are alot of knowlegable owners out there.

It makes noise just after the key is switched off.

the kebc will make noise when the key is turned off..its resetting/shutting down..thats normal..and look at your switch inside the cover..it needs to be pointing towards the back of the bike no matter what the lable says..some are mislabled(mine)....switch goes rearward
