What kind of tires are y'all runnin' in the snow?

 

I’ve seen GBC Gators and ITP Mudlites in action in the snow up in PA in February on a group ride which included 3 Vforces, a couple of Raptors, a DS650 and a few utility quads (I was on my Grizzly that day), and overall I noticed that the Gators did a little bit better. After seeing how they performed I ended up buying a set of Gators later on for my Vforce (same tire size as the stockers). Although I never got the chance to try them in the snow personally (got them after the snow was gone), I can say they made a big difference in mud and on coal piles...

i've seen maxxis sur-tracs do well in the snow on sport quads.

 

Thanks for the info. These Holeshots suck a$$ in the snow. I was thinking about Dirt Devils, but I like the knarly tread design of the Gators-seems they would outperform the Dirt Devils.

 

I was the guy 2TV rode with that February day back I when I had a V-force, and the Gators did a great in the snow! also if its muddy and you really like the guy behind you [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] ~lol. There a Little rough for regular hard pack trail riding and rocks will take a toll on them. Dirt Devils would be a better all around. But you cant go wrong with the Gators! (GBC's Toughest Tire!) ~coop
