Default problems starting

I have a lakota and sometimes I have trouble starting it (electronically) therefore, I'll have to pull start. But once it gets going, i have no problem. Yet other times, it starts with the push of a button with no problem. Do you guys think it's the battery? But after running, shouldn't it just recharge itself?

Oh, yeah one more thing, the rear break light does not turn on, i've even tried switching the bulb. Any ideas?

Check to be sure you have the correct battery for your ATV, plug not fouled, your connections are tight & not corroded on your battery, and try charging your battery overnight to see if it starts right up. May be early indications of a bad cell in your battery. Batteries dont like sitting for extended times. If you get a new battery and still have problem, May want to get your valves adjusted/checked.

The rear tail light bulb receptacle corrodes easily. Check your wiring for power.
