Default tightening drive chain on mojave

Can anyone help me? I have a 2002 Kawasaki Mojave 250 and i lost the owners manual. I really don't know much about quads since i'm a newbie. Can someone help

... Sure thing. Tightening the chain involves loosening the 2 bolts at the end of the swingarm- behind the carrier, they are probably 14mm. this will allow the axle carrier to rotate freely, the carrier is oval shaped which causes the assembly to move further or closer to the quads center. After you have the desired tension, retighten the swingarm end bolts and go riding.
P.S. this is best donw with the rear of the quad raised so as to facilitate easier rotation of the axle carrier. Hope this helps ya...........
