What do you clean the air filter element with???

Default What do you clean the air filter element with???

I know everyone will disagree but I use gas. Always have and always will. Havent damaged anything yet. The gas gets it clean and cleans it quick.

yup,used to use gas alot..then switched to kerosene...a small plastic pail of kero will last alot longer..wont evap as quick.

Default What do you clean the air filter element with???

Can of mineral spirits and a bucket. If it's not too ridiculously dirty, you can just pour it from the bucket right back into the can and reuse several, several times (the sediment will settle in the bottom of the bucket).

I use gas to clean mine then afterwards I find something to burn[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I use dawn dish soap and hot water on my 02 stock one and air blow dry it and reoil

I use Wisk laundry detergent in a bucket of hot water. It works well as long as you keep up on them.
