What do you clean the air filter element with???
a good carefull soaking in kerosene ..dont stretch or damage the material..after the kero disolves the filter oil squeze it dry as best as possible without ringing it dry(that will damage the element) let dry for a few hours then take hot soapy water and repeat the cleaning process with that..squeze dry again (no wringing)..let dry well, then spray with your choice of filter oil( i use PJ1)..let that coat dry and look for missed spots //dont over coat but dont be stingy either..it takes about a day to dry completely before the oiling so its best to have a spare filter on hand..thats why i have a twinair and kept my stocker..just in case i need to swap quik..and another tip is to get a can of white lithium spray grease and lightly coat the inside of the airbox lid..this will take some of the load off the airfilter itself and can be easily wiped out with a cloth and resprayed on..you wouldnt believe how much dirt that grease catches before it contacts the airfilter itself...good luck..

Just swing by your local Hardware or Walmart store and pick up some mineral spirits,
Its a very mild solvent and I think the best, cleanest and cheapest to use. Twin Air
also makes a tub cleaning setup that is good and has IMO the best foam filter. The
directions on most all of the filter oils with help teach you how to maintain your filter.
