Default BF750 broken floorboard fix!!!!

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem (yet) but I managed to kick a big rock up from on of the front wheels and break the outer edge of my plastic floor boards on my only three week old BF750. Quite the bummer...
At any rate I am assuming that the dealer would not call this a waranty item because it is obvious that a rock or something probably broke it. Of course this could lead into a whole other thread....
I laid down underneath the quad and tried to find a simple way to put some metal reinforcement into the now cracked floorboard and found that due to the quite intricate labyrinth of plastic reinforcement already there, rivoting on some metal strips might be harder than it was worth and probably wouldn't help the situation much for the long term.
As I looked the whole situation over I realized that what I really needed to do was remove what little metal support the floor board has and extend it to support the damaged area. Then I realized that the easiest way to do this was to just fabricate a complete new assembly which is stronger and provides much more coverage for the plastic areas.
I made up one prototype for the damaged side and will be making one for the other side also which is slightly different in dimension only (that's why the first one was a prototype).
I made these primarily out of 1" X 1" steel square tubing (1/8" wall thickness if I remember right) fully MIG welded at every possible seam. They extend all the way out to the two straight veritcal plastic "beams" of the floorboads and provide much more support in especially that area. They bolt on directly to the previous mounting holes using the same bolts and are reinforced (gusseted) much better in the mounting area. The four bolts that hold the floor boards down have been modified to 1/4'-20 stainless button head cap screws (and washers for support of the palstic. These floorboard supports are much stronger all around and have almost no effect on ground clearance.
I do not have the Kawasaki metal skid plates (I'll make me own in the coming months as soon as I can afford the $180 sheet of aluminum, or find something else that works), so I'm not sure if they would be in the way of the Kawasaki metal skids, but I think they probably won't, and if they do, one should be able to make slight mods to the skid plates or maybe simply bend them a little to make these fit.
I'll post pics if there is enough interest or if you email me. Might take a couple of days though.
Basically I made these for myself. If I get enough serious interest shown from others concerned about protecting their new toy, I could make more and sell them. I'm thinking $50-$75 per pair plus S&H or somewhere in that neighborhood to cover my time and expenses. For those that can weld and fabricate, this might seem expensive, but for those that can't it's dirt cheap for what you're getting. I would only do this if I had enough interest to make maybe five sets. I would think highlifter or some of these other places would probably want well over a $100 for something like this if they had them (no, they don't).
I am not a business, however I do tons of fabricating for myself and others and at work (I'm a maintenance electrician) so I'm building these in my garage. There is no waranty, only money back (minus S&H) if they are not used an you for some reason change your mind and decide you don't like them. Please be fair as will I.
If you are interested, feal free to PM me (that's one of the little icons at the top of the post) and let me know. Please indicate if you would be willing to pay what I am asking and if not, what you would think they would be worth (I'm hoping more...)
Hope these help.

Write all that up in a word document with the photos in it and email it to me so I can put it in the BF tech tips.
