started taking apart shaft area took the nut off everything came out but the large oil seal around the edge when i tried to pullit out all i got was a spring loop looking thing just needed to know how to got the seal out. o yeah not to computer literate i have no idea what PM is or how to do it but thats another ques. some other time thanx again.

 

I used a seal puller to remove the outter seal. The tool looks like a very small pick axe. If you don't have one you could probably use a screwdriver to pry it out or something hooked to get behind the seal and pull. Make sure you don't score the aluminum (front diff) that holds the seal. When I was using the seal removing tool I actually went further than the seal and was pulling while rubbing the diff housing which put a small grove where the tool was rubbing. Try not to make the same mistake. If you do don't worry about it I have not had any problems since. Better you do it and know about it then a stealer, I mean dealer doing it and not saying **** to you.
